Likras Shabbos

Likras Shabbos is 501c(3) non-profit organization located in Washington Heights. We offer a Hilchos Shabbos shiur to young boys given by Rabbi Avrohom Hoffman, the 1st Grade rebbi in YRSRH. This shiur takes place on Friday afternoons when Shabbos gets later, in the spring and summer. About 12-18 boys attend this shiur every week, meaning that over the course of the season, around 300 hours worth of Torah were learned! Snacks, homemade kugel, and prizes are also given out to our budding Talmidei Chachamim. Your donation will enable us to continue our choshu've work.

You can also donate by cash or check by dropping it off either at the KAJ office (700 W, 186th St.) or in the wooden box in the KAJ shul lobby. Please include your name, phone number, and email or street address. If you wish, you may also specify a specific week that you would wish to dedicate, and/or a name L'zchuso/L'iluy Nishmaso. If you would like your name to be withheld, please indicate so.
